1. Acceptance of Terms

These Event or Land Buying and Selling Event Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern registration for and participation in events organized, hosted, promoted, managed, or operated by G1 Lands ("G1 Lands", "we", "our", or "us").

By registering for, attending, participating in, purchasing tickets for, sponsoring, exhibiting at, speaking at, volunteering for, or otherwise participating in a G1 Lands event, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not register for or participate in the event.
 

2. Scope

• Expos

• Industry Panels

• Workshops

• Future online and in-person events

These Terms apply whether participation is free, complimentary, sponsored, or paid.
 

3. Event Purpose

G1 Lands events are intended to provide:

• Educational opportunities

• Networking opportunities

• Industry information

• Business development opportunities

• Access to professionals and industry participants

Events are not intended to provide:

​

• Legal advice

• Financial advice

• Tax advice

• Investment advice

• Planning approvals

• Engineering advice

• Professional advice

Participants are responsible for obtaining independent professional advice appropriate to their circumstances.

4. Registration

Participants may be required to provide information including:

​

• Name

• Contact information

• Company information

• Professional information

• Registration details

​

Participants agree that information provided during registration will be accurate and complete.

G1 Lands reserves the right to reject, suspend, cancel, or revoke registrations where necessary.

• Postpone events

• Reschedule events

where reasonably necessary.

Event details may change without prior notice.

 

6. Tickets, Fees & Payments

• Registration is not guaranteed until payment is received where applicable

• Additional event-specific payment terms may apply

 

G1 Lands may use third-party payment providers.

Payment processing may be governed by the terms of applicable third-party providers.

 

7. Refund Policy

Unless otherwise stated for a specific event:

• Tickets may be non-refundable

• Registrations may be non-transferable

• Refund requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis

 

Specific event refund policies may supplement these Terms.

In the event of cancellation by G1 Lands, remedies may be determined by G1 Lands based on the circumstances.

 

8. Event Conduct

• Follow venue requirements

• Respect event staff and volunteers

Participants shall not:

• Harass others

• Discriminate against others

• Engage in threatening conduct

• Engage in disruptive conduct

• Interfere with event operations

• Engage in unlawful activity​

9. Removal from Events

​

G1 Lands reserves the right to remove, restrict, suspend, or refuse participation where reasonably necessary to:

• Protect attendees

• Protect staff

• Protect vendors

• Protect sponsors

• Maintain professionalism

• Protect event integrity

• Address compliance concerns

Removal may occur without refund where appropriate.

​

10. Privacy

​

Personal information collected during registration and participation may be used for:

• Communications

• Operational purposes

• Marketing purposes where permitted

By attending an event, participants acknowledge that their image, likeness, voice, comments, or participation may be captured and used for:

• Marketing

• Promotion

• Education

• Documentation

• Business purposes

unless otherwise prohibited by law.

Participants who have concerns regarding recordings should contact G1 Lands before the event where practical.

13. Speakers, Vendors & Sponsors

Speakers, vendors, exhibitors, sponsors, professionals, and other participants are responsible for:

• Their statements

• Their advice

• Their services

• Their products

• Their conduct

G1 Lands does not guarantee:

​

• Accuracy of statements

• Professional qualifications

• Products or services

• Outcomes

• Recommendations

Participants should independently evaluate any information, products, or services presented.

14. Event Information Disclaimer

Information presented during events may include:

• Opinions

• Forecasts

• Assumptions

• Planning discussions

• Market discussions

15. Land Opportunity Disclaimer

Participants may voluntarily provide information directly to vendors, exhibitors, sponsors, or other participants.

Information voluntarily provided to third parties becomes subject to the privacy practices and policies of those third parties.

18. Health, Safety & Venue Compliance

19. Assumption of Risk

20. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, G1 Lands, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, volunteers, representatives, sponsors, and service providers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, expense, injury, claim, or liability arising from:

21. Indemnification

Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless G1 Lands and its affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:

G1 Lands shall not be responsible for delays, interruptions, modifications, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.​
